Do you find yourself repeating the same emotional patterns in relationships, but don’t know why?
What if greater self-awareness could unlock a new way of being?
How might your life shift if you explored the deeper layers of your experiences?
Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy (MCPP) is a compassionate, embodiment-focused approach that blends mindfulness with explorative talk therapy. It helps you develop a deeper awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment, offering insight into how past experiences influence your well-being. Rooted in both Buddhist psychology and Western psychotherapy, this approach encourages self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of ease in life.
Through a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, you are encouraged to explore your inner world with curiosity and kindness, leading to deeper self-understanding, improved relationships, and meaningful, lasting change.

At the heart of this therapy is the belief that you have an innate ability to heal and grow. By paying close attention to both your mental and physical experiences, you can develop a stronger connection with yourself. This embodiment-focused, trauma informed approach helps you recognise patterns held in the body, release tension, and restore balance.

Exploring your relationship Habits & patterns
creating space for presence, clarity and inner calm when in overwhelm
coping with loss & death of a Loved One

fostering self-awareness for deeper family & friend connections
In a MCPP session, you can expect a calm, confidential, supportive space where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations with curiosity and kindness.
Sessions last 60 minutes and take place either online via Zoom or in person in East Sussex. The process begins with an initial consultation, after which a commitment to weekly sessions is required. This regularity helps create a safe, non-judgmental environment for self-reflection and personal growth.
Each session may incorporate mindfulness experiences such as breath awareness and embodied practices, which help deepen self-awareness, promote a sense of calm, and support overall well-being in daily life. Rather than focusing solely on talking, you will be guided to tune into your present-moment experience, helping you connect more deeply with yourself. Over time, this approach can lead to a greater understanding of your emotions, improved relationships, and a more balanced way of being.
